Bolton Landing Triathlon
The Bolton Landing Triathlon is a multi-sport event located in Upstate New York. As a USAT Sanctioned competition, it takes place in the town of Bolton Landing, situated along the shores of Lake George. The event features a swimming leg in Lake George, followed by cycling and running segments that pass through the landscape of the Adirondack Mountains.
Participants can choose from several race formats and categories, including individual entries, relays, aquabike, and duathlon options. The event provides two primary distances:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 13 mi bike, and 3.0 mi run.
- Olympic: 1500 m swim, 24.8 mi bike, and 6.0 mi run.
The duathlon option is offered specifically for the Sprint distance. Special registration categories are available for military personnel, students, first responders, and youth aged 12 and under. Athletes have the option to purchase a personalized medal insert that displays their name and official finish time.
