Purpose, partners, and history
Proceeds support the conservation work of the Lake George Land Conservancy and go toward protecting lands in the Lake George watershed. Since 1988, the conservancy has protected more than 14,221 acres. Protecting wetland areas like Amy’s Park is cited as a way to filter pollutants before water reaches Lake George. Hüma Gel served as the official race nutrition partner and provided hydration and energy gels at aid stations. The event has drawn participant fields in past years; the 9th annual race recorded 73 participants overall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
