About the race
The Peak 2 Brew ADK Relay is a vehicle-supported team running relay through the Adirondack region of New York. The event uses a point-to-point course that links Gore Mountain, Old Forge, and Saranac Brewery and is offered in two formats: a multi-day Bark Eater relay and a one-day Sprint relay.
Bark Eater is an approximately two day overnight relay with an overnight camp at the halfway exchange (Exchange #12). Bark Eater covers the full course from Gore Mountain through Old Forge to Saranac Brewery. Sprint covers the later section of the same course from Old Forge to Saranac Brewery as a one day event.
Teams enter as either 4-PACK or 6-PACK. Team size and running responsibilities vary by entry type; runner counts in the listed entries range from 3 to 6 per team and the number of legs per runner differs by format. Each team uses one support vehicle to follow the course and access exchange points. The course is organized in sections and exchanges so team members alternate running legs; some legs occur during daytime and others occur at night for the multi-day Bark Eater format.
