Event Format
The Peak 2 Brew ADK Relay is a long-distance, vehicle-supported team running relay event held in the Adirondack (ADK) region of New York. It consists of two distinct relay formats: the Bark Eater Relay and the Sprint Relay.
Distances and Routes
Bark Eater Relay
- A 130+ mile course from Gore Mountain to Saranac Brewery.
- It is a two-day overnight event. Teams camp at the halfway checkpoint in Old Forge.
Sprint Relay
- A 60+ mile course from Old Forge to Saranac Brewery.
- It is a single-day event, starting at the halfway point of the Bark Eater course.
Team Structure
Both relay events are for teams of 3 to 6 runners. In the Bark Eater Relay, each runner typically runs 4 to 6 legs. In the Sprint Relay, each runner typically runs 2 to 3 legs. Registration is organized by team type, referred to as "packs": 4-Pack or 6-Pack.
Logistics
The event is vehicle-supported, meaning teams provide their own support vehicle. The published price for registration includes all fees. Teams that provide volunteers may receive a discount of up to $50. The event is open to participants aged 15 to 90. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
