Event overview
UltraTrax Cannon Mountain takes place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Franconia, New Hampshire (2650 Profile Rd, Franconia, NH 03580). The event is a timed trek rather than a race; participants have 10 hours to complete their chosen course. A portion of proceeds is donated to the Conservation Lands Foundation.

- 28 miles (Level 4)
Listed entry fees at the time of posting are $56, $86, $96, and $116 for Levels 1 through 4, respectively. Prices increase after June 1, 2026 at 6:00am EDT.
Course and participant details
The route climbs Cannon Mountain through dense White-Mountain forest with rocky scrambles and steep ridgelines. The course follows forest track and rugged scramble sections and reaches viewpoints over Franconia Notch and nearby White Mountain peaks. The course will be marked and a post-trek gathering is planned.
Participants can choose to wear weighted vests or rucks of 10, 20, or 35 lb for additional finisher items. Finishers receive a custom t-shirt and a velcro patch. Level 3 and Level 4 participants qualify to earn the UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Bibs can be mailed or picked up on race morning; registrations after August 15, 2026 require in-person pickup. Complimentary onsite parking and post-event refreshments are provided.
