UltraTrax Cannon Mountain : event overview

UltraTrax Cannon Mountain takes place on September 6, 2026, in Franconia, New Hampshire (2650 Profile Rd, Franconia, NH 03580). The event is a timed trek, not a race; participants have 10 hours to complete their chosen distance. Loop options are offered as follows:

7-Mile Course (Level 1)
14-Mile Course (Level 2)

Course and logistics

The route ascends Cannon Mountain through dense White Mountain forest, rocky scramble sections, and steep ridgelines, with views over Franconia Notch and surrounding peaks. The course will be well marked. Participants may add a weighted vest or ruck in 10 lb, 20 lb, or 35 lb increments; wearing weight can unlock additional finisher swag. Finishers receive a custom t-shirt and a velcro patch; Level 3 and Level 4 participants qualify to earn the UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Bibs can be mailed or picked up on the morning of the event; registrations after 8/15/26 require in-person pickup, and a friend or relative may pick up a bib on a participant’s behalf.
