Cirque Series - Cannon Mountain
The event is a trail race at Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire on June 13, 2026. The course covers 6.9 miles with 3,080' of elevation gain and is capped at 500 runners. The summit elevation is 4,031 feet.
The route begins at the Peabody Base Area and immediately ascends the Peabody Slopes, crosses the Front5 toward the Aerial Tramway, then follows the Kinsman Ridge Trail. A two-mile section of Kinsman Ridge has about 2,081 feet of elevation gain to the summit. After the summit the course descends under the Cannonball Quad, drops down Upper Ravine Trail, climbs The Saddle toward Mittersill, and continues across ski trails including Skyline, Ridge Run, Dragons Drop, Baron’s Run and Coyote Crossing back to the Peabody Base Area.
Organizers describe the course as steep, rocky, grassy, wet and slippery. The route is marked with orange flagging and competitors are required to follow the marked route for safety. There is a strict cut-off time at the Cannon Mountain summit of 2 hours; competitors who meet the cut-off will take the tramway back down. The host site is the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation.
All competitors receive a snapback, giveaway ticket, logoed bib and medal, a sponsor swag bag and free professional race photos. A vendor village and post-race activities are scheduled for race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
