Event Details
The Vineyard at RiverWalk Wine Run is a timed 5k run/walk that takes place near the White Mountains. The course starts and finishes at the Seven Birches Vineyards at the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
The road course includes crossing the South Mountain Bridge, winding around the South Peak Resort, and passing through the vineyard before finishing in the Grand Ballroom.
Participation
The event is open to participants aged 1 to 99. Walking and running are both allowed. Leashed dogs are permitted. The use of strollers is allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground on the course; children in strollers do not need to register. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each category, ranging from ages 1-9 to 80 and over. The event is professionally timed by J3 Timing, with results posted online.
Registration & Amenities
Standard registration includes a cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Participants under 21 receive a discounted registration that includes the shirt, medal, and bib, but not the wine glass or wine pour. Packet pickup is available on race day only, starting one hour before the event.
Other Information
Post-race activities include winery tours for a fee and the wine pour in the Grand Ballroom. Discount coupons for bottle purchases are available. The event supports a local charity, The Bridge Project, NH. A virtual participation option is also available, with a shipping fee for packets.
