Turkey Trot Los Angeles
The 14th Annual Turkey Trot Los Angeles takes place on Thanksgiving Day in downtown Los Angeles. The event offers participants the opportunity to run through the city streets without morning traffic, passing historic landmarks such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The courses are designed to showcase the urban landscape during sunrise, with all races concluding at Grand Park for a post-event festival.
The event features several participation options:
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
- Combo 5K & 10K Run
- Widdle Wobble (for children)
- 1 mile dog jog
- 5K Virtual Run
All finishers receive a soft cotton race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Additionally, participants receive a canvas backpack provided by the presenting sponsor. Festive merchandise, including turkey-themed hats and socks, is available for purchase.
The race serves as a fundraiser for The Midnight Mission, a non-profit organization supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. Through a partnership with UAE USA United, the event contributes to providing meals and services for those in need during the holiday season. Technical support includes chip timing, with results and photos made available after the event.
