Turkey Trot Los Angeles : Thanksgiving Day run in downtown LA
Turkey Trot Los Angeles is the 14th annual Thanksgiving Day running event in downtown Los Angeles. The course passes landmarks such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall and finishes at Grand Park where a post-event festival takes place.
The event offers multiple distance and participation options:
- 5K run
- 10K run
- Combo 5K & 10K run
- Widdle Wobble family race
- 1 mile dog jog
- 5K Virtual run
Packet pickup in advance is not mandatory but is recommended. Merchandise such as turkey hats and socks is available at packet pickup and on race morning, with additional items offered online. Every finisher receives a soft cotton race t-shirt and a finisher medal. This year every participant also receives a canvas UAE USA backpack.
The presenting sponsor is UAE USA United. Since 2016 UAE USA United has worked with The Midnight Mission; the event benefits The Midnight Mission and includes fundraising options to support that nonprofit. Volunteer opportunities and information about registration, course maps, parking, and race-day FAQs are provided for participants.
