About the race

Turkey Trot Los Angeles is the 14th annual Thanksgiving Day running event in downtown Los Angeles on November 26, 2026. The course passes historic buildings such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall and finishes at Grand Park, where a post event festival takes place.

The event offers several participation options and a virtual option for remote runners. Every finisher receives a soft cotton race t shirt and a finisher medal. In addition, each participant will receive a canvas UAE USA backpack. Merchandise including turkey hats and socks is available at packet pickup and on race morning, with additional items offered online.

The event partners with UAE USA United and supports The Midnight Mission. Fundraising and donations are part of the event activities to provide meals and assistance to people experiencing homelessness. Volunteer opportunities are available to support event operations and community outreach.

Registration is open and the next price increase is scheduled for August 20th. Packet pickup is available in advance or on race morning, and advance pickup is recommended to reduce check in time on event day.
