Turkey Trot 5K Run & Fitness Walk : Fountain Hills
Fountain Hills Community Services presents a Turkey Trot 5K Run and Fitness Walk on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, in Fountain Hills. The course runs around the fountain at Fountain Park and starts on Avenue of the Fountains just east of Verde River Drive. The listed venue address is 16701 E Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.
Two participation options are offered:
- 5K timed run
- 1.5 mile fitness walk
Registration is required and opens July 1. Price tiers are published for early bird, standard, and late registration periods; early bird pricing is available until November 1. Early bird packet pick up takes place November 16 to 19 at Fountain Hills Town Hall. Additional packet pick up dates are scheduled the week before the event at the Fountain Hills Community Center at 13001 N La Montana Dr. There is no onsite race day registration.
All finishers in both events receive a finisher medal available only at the finish line. A costume contest is part of the event and a long sleeved event shirt is included with registration. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each published age category, which range from 12 and under through 80 plus.
