- 10K
- 5K
Courses use desert trails around the Goldfield Mountains and the Pass Mountain area, including sections of single track, OHV trail, sandy washes, Cholla Forests, the Levee Trail, and the Hawes Trail System. Routes provide views of Pass Mountain, the Superstition Wilderness Area, and the Salt River. The 50 mile course leaves Usery Regional Park, traverses Bulldog Canyon and parts of Tonto National Forest, and returns via the Pass Mountain Trail.
Aid stations are placed every 3.0 to 8.6 miles and supply water, electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. This is a cupless race; runners should plan to carry a reusable cup. Race timing uses chip timing with results displayed at the finish, and live split tracking is available.
Crews are permitted at specified aid locations and the start/finish for shorter distances. Pacers and remote drop bag access are allowed only for the 50 mile event under the stated race rules. Park entry requires a fee per vehicle, and some entrants may be directed to shuttle or overflow parking. Medical staff will be based at the start/finish area.
