The Space In Between 5K Family Fun Day
The Space In Between hosts a 5K Family Fun Day on November 15, 2026 at Freestone Park, 1045 E Juniper Road, Gilbert, Arizona. The running portion is a 5K (3.1 Miles) offered in two age categories: Ages 13 and over, and Ages 12 and under. Registration fees listed are $30.00 for the older category and $15.00 for the younger category.
The event supports single parents and single-income families who are transitioning out of crisis. The Space In Between provides donated furniture, household essentials, practical resources, and Family Blessings to help transform empty spaces into functional homes.
The day pairs the 5K with family-focused activities and community offerings, including local vendors, food trucks, children’s activities, music and entertainment, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and participation from community organizations.
Awards are given for male and female participants across these age groups: 12 & Under, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Registered participants will receive an event medal.
