Punisher Night Trail
The Punisher Night Trail takes place in Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, Arizona. This evening running event is part of the Insomniac Night Series, featuring courses that utilize the park's desert trail system. The terrain consists of smooth trails with occasional rolling sections and rocky patches.
Participants can choose from four different distances:
- 30K
- 20K
- 10K
- 5K
The courses are designed as loops, with each distance passing through the start and finish line area at the Pass Mountain Trailhead Staging after every lap. Course markings consist of orange plastic ribbons with black polka dots and reflective medallions, while blue and white flagging indicates wrong directions.
A fully stocked aid station is located at the start and finish line, with a second remote station, the Levee Aid station, accessible on every loop. These stations provide water, ice, electrolyte drinks, and a variety of snacks, including fruit and hot food like quesadillas.
The event is cupless, requiring participants to bring their own reusable containers. Personal drop bags can be stored at the start and finish area for easy access during the race. All finishers receive an award and have access to chip-timed results and photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
