Punisher Night Trail - Usery Mountain Regional Park
The Punisher Night Trail takes place Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, AZ. The event uses looped trail courses based out of the Pass Mountain Trailhead staging area and offers night running on desert trails.

Each distance runs laps that pass through the start/finish area after each loop. The courses mix smooth runnable trail with a few rollers and rocky sections and include named segments such as Noso, Blevins, Moon Rock, Levee, Spillway, Cat Peaks, and Cat Peaks Pass. Some loops include climbs on Quartz and Go John.
Aid is available at a main trailhead station and a remote Levee aid station passed on every loop. Aid station supplies include water, ice, electrolyte drink product Gnarly Hydrate, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food options. The race includes chip timing, finish line photography, live split tracking, and a finisher award.
Crews are allowed only at the start/finish area. Pacers are not permitted for any distance. A designated drop bag area is available at the start/finish. Courses are marked with orange ribbons with black polka dots, reflective medallions, laminated signs, and checkerboard flagging for wrong way trails. MedStar Solutions medical staff will be onsite for first aid and may remove participants if necessary.
The park charges a $10 vehicle entry fee as of 1/1/26. The event runs alongside the Pass Mountain Trail Runs the same day; completing distances at both events earns a special Double Down medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
