Event details
The Punisher Night Trail takes place Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, AZ. The event is based out of the Pass Mountain Trailhead Staging area and offers the following distances:
- 30K
- 20K
- 10K
- 5K (course noted as closer to 3.6 miles)
All races use a roughly 9 kilometer loop on the Noso, Blevins, Moon Rock, Levee, Spillway, Cat Peaks and Cat Peaks Pass trails. The 30K is three loops, the 20K is two loops, and the 10K is one loop.
Course and services
The course is described as mostly smooth, runnable trails with a few rollers and rocks and includes climbs named Quartz and Go John. Aid support includes a fully stocked start/finish aid station plus a remote Levee Aid station on course; supplies listed include water, ice, Gnarly Hydrate electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food items. Race services noted are chip timing, finish line photos, live tracking, and a finisher award by Aravaipa Artworx. Crews are allowed at the start/finish only; pacers are not allowed. A designated drop bag area will be available at the start/finish. MedStar Solutions medical staff will be based at the start/finish to provide first aid and assist with medical decisions. The park charges a $7 entry fee per vehicle; pets are not allowed on-course and must be leashed at the event. Registration closes Monday, November 3.
