2026 Tuesday Night 5k #7
This event is a chip timed 5k held at Lake Accotink Park on the Lake Accotink to Byron Avenue Course. The course is a flat, paved out-and-back route. Points from this event count toward the Weekday Race Series (one of eight events in 2026) and toward the Year-Long 5k and Back of the Pack series. The Back of the Pack time is listed as 11:00 and the series is organized so runners with similar paces can compete for series points.
Participants will receive a finisher’s medal; shirts will not be provided for this race. Walkers are welcome. Registration for the 5k is listed at $22 with a $5 increase on race day; race day registration is available and packet pickup is offered at the event. Organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the event to check in or to register on race day.
One water station is located at approximately mile 1.55; Gatorade may be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located at the top of the hill near the beach. Live results are posted to Athlinks and via a QR code at the race, with final results and series points posted to the organizer’s site on the Monday after the event.
