Event Overview
The event is a 5k race. Points from this event count towards the Weekday Race Series, which includes 8 events in the year. Points also count towards the Year-Long 5k and the Back of the Pack series. There is race day registration, with the fee increasing by $5 on the day.
Race Details
The course is a flat, paved out-and-back route at Lake Accotink. One water station is positioned along the course at approximately mile 1.55, offering water and sometimes Gatorade. The event is chip-timed.
Participant Information
Walkers are welcome. Participants receive a finisher's medal. Race shirts are not provided for this event. Packet pickup is available at the event. Results are posted live on Athlinks.com and a QR code is available at the race for immediate viewing.
Logistics
