2026 Autumn Georgetown 5k & Half
The event offers two race distances on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path in Georgetown, Washington, DC. The courses are out-and-back on a light gravel trail with minimal elevation change. The half marathon starts and finishes near the Potomac Boat Club in Georgetown. The 5k starts and finishes at Fletcher's Boathouse. A virtual race option is available.

Race details and services
The event is chip timed and provides a finisher's medal and a technical (drifit) event shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed to runners registered before September 9; extras may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Water stations are provided: seven stations on the half marathon course and one station on the 5k course; Gatorade is available at some stations. Port-a-johns and building restrooms are provided near the registration/start/finish areas. There is no official bag check; items may be left at the timing tent but organizers are not responsible for valuables.
Results are posted live on an event results service and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race. The event awards top three overall men and women and age-group awards in standard age brackets. The race benefits Operation Turbo. There is no on-site race registration.
