Autumn Georgetown 5k & Half
The Autumn Georgetown 5k & Half is a running event held in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC, near the nation's capital. Participants can choose between two primary distances, both of which utilize the scenic Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path.
The event offers the following race categories:
- Half Marathon
- 5 km
The two distances have different staging areas along the canal path. The half marathon starts and finishes in Georgetown in the vicinity of the Potomac Boat Club. The 5 km race starts and finishes at Fletcher's Boat House.
Walkers are permitted to participate in the event. For those unable to attend in person, virtual registration options are available, which include choices for medals and shirts.
