Trigger Fell Race : 11 January 2026

The event is a linear fell race that starts at Marsden Cricket Club and finishes in a field in Edale village. The route goes over Black Hill, Bleaklow and Kinder and includes 7 checkpoints, including 2 trig points. The course distance is 24 miles with 1650 m of climb. Each runner must visit every checkpoint in order. Runners need to be self-sufficient and must make their own transport arrangements to the start and from the finish. SPORTident will provide timing and split times for each leg. All profits from the race go to Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team. The event depends on the Snake Pass being open for traffic to access Snake Summit.
