Requirements & Details

The race headquarters is in a lay-by, half a mile northwest of Portsmouth Village, on the A646 Todmorden to Burnley road. All participants must carry full FRA kit: a waterproof jacket with a hood, waterproof trousers, a hat, gloves, a compass, a whistle, a map, and emergency food. The minimum age for entry is 18.

Team prizes are awarded, with three runners to count for both men's and women's teams. Water is supplied at the finish line.

Records

The male course record is 00:54:05, set by D. Clarke in 2023. The female course record is 01:05:29, set by M. Tibbot in 2022.
