Dan Lee Military Race

The Dan Lee Military Race is scheduled for Saturday 21 March 2026 at Delph Cricket Club, Huddesfield Road, OL3 5EG. The event offers a ten mile route over mixed terrain that includes quiet roads, farm tracks and moorland. The course has 1,447 ft of elevation gain.

TAB - weighted military-style entry with a 35 lb pack and ankle boots

Entries open 22 November 2025 and close 19 March 2026. The entry fee is £15. The event has separate categories for runners and for weighted TAB entrants. There is a team competition where the first three finishers from a club, station/department or team count toward the team result; the team with the fastest combined time wins.

Minimum kit will be decided by weather and the race organiser and may include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, long-sleeved base layer, a bag or vest to carry kit, and emergency food. Entry fees for the event are used to raise funds for two charities linked to the military and firefighting communities. The 2025 entry fee included a race buff.
