Dan Lee Military Race

The Dan Lee Military Race is a 10-mile run or TAB (Tactical Advance to Battle) event. It takes place on a course with mixed terrain, including quiet roads, farm tracks, and moorland. The route includes 1,447 feet of elevation gain.

The event was established in 2023 in memory of Dan Lee, a former Royal Marine and firefighter.

The race is open to both runners and participants carrying a weighted pack (TAB). TAB entrants must carry a 35 lb pack and wear ankle boots. There are separate categories for runners and TAB participants. Registration for the event is at Delph Cricket Club.

An after-party is planned for the evening of the race, starting at 6 pm, with live music, karaoke, and snacks. A separate ticket is required.

The event is non-profit. All profits are donated to the Royal Marines Charity and the Fire Fighters Charity, with a small percentage used to support future events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
