Trifarm Sprint Triathlon
The event takes place at Trifarm in the Chelmer Valley near Chelmsford and uses the Trifarm lake for the swim. Two race formats are offered:
- Trifarm Sprint: 800m swim, 18km bike, 5km run
- Trifarm Super Sprint: 400m swim, 18km bike, 3km run
The bike stage follows public roads and includes a hilly section over North Hill. The run takes place on flat, gravel perimeter track around the lake and uses closed roads for part of the course. The swim is open water in the lake. The transition area is on grass and is about 25 m from the swim exit.
Event amenities listed include chip timing, finishers medals, numbered racking, changing facilities, parking, toilets, posted results, and prizes. The organiser expects about 150 competitors. Entry opens on 25 September 2026 and the published entry fee is £50. The event notes the presence of marshalls and supporters around the course.
