The Southend Rudolph Run takes place on 14 December 2025 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The event is organised by Nice Work and is based on the promenade adjacent to Ness Road, SS3 9HG. Course and facilities
The course is described as fast and flat, running on tarmac paths and the promenade, and is accurately measured. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for download. Race headquarters are on the promenade; parking is available adjacent to the HQ and along the promenade. The closest railway station is Thorpe Bay, approximately 1 mile from the race HQ.
Extras and beneficiaries
The event includes a junior scurry (one mile), an option for fancy dress, bespoke medals, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. The race supports Havens Hospices and Shelter. Havens Hospices provides specialist care for babies, children and young people and family support during illness and bereavement.
