Tree of Life 5K - Race with a Cause
Tree of Life, a local nonprofit serving Loudoun, Fauquier, and Clarke counties, is hosting its third annual 5K fundraiser at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Virginia. The event raises funds for the organization’s Shelter Branch, which provides transitional housing, mentoring, and other supports for families and individuals in the service area.
The Shelter Branch operates six family homes and two independent living units for individuals with special needs. Funds from the race go directly to support these local programs as living costs and housing pressures remain high in the region. Unity Power Services is the event title sponsor and is providing event support.
Registration details include an opening on August 17, 2026, and an early-fee deadline on September 18, 2026. Registration is completed online. Registration fees listed by category are:
- 5K for Adults 14 and over
- 5K for Youth 13 and under
Awards are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers and for the top two male and female finishers in the 13 and under age group.
