2026 Fall Harvest 5k
The Fall Harvest 5k is a trail race at Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA on October 3. It is the fourth race in the Run Your PRCS Parks timed series. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Fall Series.
The course runs on forest paths and leaf-covered trails through the park. A course map is provided by the organizer as the Claude Moore Competition 5K Course. The event offers a chip-timed result system, live results via an online results service and a QR code at the race for immediate access. Final results with series points are posted to the organizer’s website the Monday after the race.
Participants receive a finisher medal and a cotton event shirt. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for runners registered before September 23; additional shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. The published registration fee for the 5k is $35. A virtual run option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
Packet pickup is available at the event and there is race day registration. Restrooms are located around the park. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in age categories; top three overall finishers are not eligible for age group awards.
