Townsend 15K and 7K
The Townsend 15K and 7K take place on Saturday, September 13 in Townsend, Tennessee. Race headquarters is Peaceful Side Social at 7967 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy in Townsend.

The in-person courses run on back-country roads near the Little River and begin and end at Peaceful Side Social. The 15K follows an out-and-back style while the 7K follows a loop that uses much of the same roads. The 15K course closes after 2.5 hours and the 7K course closes earlier. One water stop is located on the route and is passed twice on the 15K and once on the 7K. Gatorade and energy gels will be available on the course.
Registration fees are listed per event and registration period; virtual entries have separate fees. No refunds and no transfers are allowed. Race day packet pickup is held at Peaceful Side Social. Short-sleeved unisex shirts are offered; participants who register after August 30 will receive shirts only while supplies last and one shirt is provided per participant.
Awards are given to top overall finishers and to age group winners. Separate awards exist for Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, Clydesdale, and Athena categories.
