Run Dollywood Race Weekend

Run Dollywood Race Weekend takes place September 25–27, 2026, at Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The event comprises a full race weekend with multiple distances, a Race Expo, and on-site event merchandise.

The weekend includes the following races:

• 1 mile Kids Fun Run (ages 4–12)
• 5K (chip-timed)
• 10K
• Half marathon (13.1 mi)

Courses wind through Dollywood Theme Park and the surrounding community; participants will pass park rides and themed areas. The event runs alongside Dollywood’s Harvest Festival and features live music and festive on-course entertainment. Water stations and course volunteers are provided, and finisher medals are awarded to participants. Pacers are available for the half marathon, and post-race food and awards are offered.

The Butterfly Challenge rewards runners who complete the 5K, 10K, and half marathon during the weekend with an exclusive commemorative medal. Course maps are provided as previews and may change prior to race day.

The Race Expo and bib pick up are located at Dollywood Theme Park Preferred Parking. Exclusive Run Dollywood merchandise is on sale during the Race Expo and at race events. A pre-race meal is offered inside the theme park. Nearby on-property resorts include Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa and HeartSong Lodge & Resort, which list runner perks such as packet pickup access, a complimentary shuttle to the park, and early park access on select days.
