Miles 4 Maryville 10K, 5K & 1 Mile
Miles 4 Maryville is an annual running event held in Maryville, Tennessee. The proceeds from the event support the Maryville City Schools Foundation to fund educational programs within the local school district. Participants can choose between several in-person and virtual distances:
- 10 km (6.2 Miles) running race
- 5 km (3.1 Miles) running race
- 1 Mile run or walk
- Virtual 10 km or Virtual 5 km
The in-person 10 km and 5 km events consist of single loop courses that start in front of the Maryville High School gymnasium. The route travels across local area roads, greenways, and sidewalks, featuring a mix of rolling hills and flat sections. Both races finish on the 50-yard line of the football field at Shields Stadium. The 10 km course is restricted to runners only, while the 5 km and 1 Mile options are open to both runners and walkers.
The 10 km and 5 km races are chip-timed. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in the Masters (ages 35-49) and Grand Masters (ages 50 and over) categories. Participants in the virtual events must submit their results manually and are responsible for collecting their shirts from designated pickup locations, as they are not mailed.
