Too Hot To Handle is a Run Project race held on September 12, 2026 at Norbuck Park, 200 N Buckner Blvd, Dallas, TX 75218. The event offers in-person and virtual options. The in-person distances are:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
Virtual participants may upload results between July 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026; virtual packets are scheduled to ship starting the week of July 13, 2026.
Course and on-course services
Courses run near White Rock Lake and are USATF certified. The half-marathon course includes hydration and gels on course. Bag check is available at the venue. A beer garden at the finish requires attendees to be 21 or older. An after party with music is listed as part of the event offerings.
Registration, fees and discounts
Standard, early-bird and staged pricing schedules apply for each distance. Discounts of $5 apply automatically for participants aged 8 and under, participants aged 65 and over, and for groups of four or more in the same transaction. The $5 age/group discounts do not apply to virtual entries.
Logistics, awards and pace groups
Packet pickup is scheduled on several days before the race at local running stores and at Norbuck Park on the day of the event. Awards are given to top overall and masters finishers and to top three in listed age groups; recipients must be present to claim awards.
