Too Hot To Handle is a Run Project event on September 12, 2026 at Norbuck Park, 200 N Buckner Blvd, Dallas, TX. The event offers the following distances on USATF certified courses that run around White Rock Lake and are described as scenic and fairly flat:

A virtual race option is available; virtual results can be uploaded between July 11, 2026 and October 17, 2026 and virtual packets ship starting the week of July 13, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled at multiple locations in the days before the race, including Fort Worth Running Company (Fort Worth), Dallas Running Company Southlake (Southlake), Dallas Running Company (Plano), and on-site at Norbuck Park. Registration includes tiered pricing with early launch specials and later price increases for each distance and for the virtual option. Awards are given 1st-3rd overall male and female, 1st overall masters male and female, and top three in standard age groups; awards must be claimed in person.
