2026 Too Hot To Handle 5K, 10K & Half
The event takes place on September 12, 2026 at Norbuck Park, 200 N Buckner Blvd, Dallas, TX. It offers in-person road race distances on scenic, fairly flat courses near White Rock Lake and a virtual option with flexible timing.

Included features for in-person participants listed by the organizer include a custom tech tank, custom finisher medal, custom bib, bag check, hydration and gels on the half marathon course, half marathon pace groups, a beer garden for those over 21, an after party with music, and a largest team contest. Courses are USATF certified.
Packet pickup is available on September 8 at Fort Worth Running Company (3000 S Hulen St Suite 158, Fort Worth), September 9 at Dallas Running Company Southlake (1081 E Southlake Blvd Suite 160, Southlake), September 10 at Dallas Running Company Plano (7200 Bishop Rd D-12, Plano), and on September 11 and 12 at Norbuck Park (200 N Buckner Blvd, Dallas).
The event lists fundraising partners including Animal Rescue Crusaders of North Texas, Rainbow Days, Girls on the Run DFW, and Project Hero.
