The Plano Turkey Trot is a chip-timed community run held in Plano, Texas, on November 26, 2026. The event features a measured 5K and a kids dash. The course runs entirely on paved path or street and has a course time limit of 1 hour 20 minutes for the 5K. Toilets are available at the start and finish areas.
Start and finish are at Red Tail Pavilion South Parking Lot, 2801 E Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, TX 75074. Limited free parking is available in the amphitheater lots near the start and finish; additional off-site parking is located across the street at Collin Community College Library Spring Creek Campus. All water stations provide water. There is no gear check on the event site.
Packet pickup options include mailed delivery (limited availability, fee applies) or pick up in the days before the event at Dick’s Warehouse Store, 1701 Preston Rd, Plano. Race packets mailed to virtual participants are sent after the event. Participants must sign an online waiver; strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only and dogs are not permitted.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall. The event supports The Source of Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on health, wellness, and education for individuals in need.
