The 5K is chip timed with a timing chip integrated into the participant bib. The course is entirely on paved path or street. Toilets are available at the start/finish area. Course time limit for the 5K is 1 hour 20 minutes. All water stations include water. There is no gear check on site.
Event gear choices include a classic t-shirt or an upgrade to a thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Shipley Do-Nuts are provided at the finish. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group; age categories range from 10 & Under through 70+. Purchased finisher medals that are not picked up may be mailed for a fee.
Parking includes limited free parking at nearby amphitheater lots and off-site parking at Collin Community College Library Spring Creek Campus. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only with a guardian waiver; dogs are not permitted.
