The Plano Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving running event held in Plano, Texas on November 26, 2026. The event is chip timed and takes place on paved paths and streets with toilets at the start and finish. The start/finish area is at Red Tail Pavilion South Parking Lot, 2801 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074. Limited free parking is available near the amphitheater lots and additional off-site parking is provided at Collin Community College Spring Creek Campus.

Participant gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgraded thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Packet mailing is offered for a fee and virtual packets are mailed 1–2 weeks after race day. Water stations provide water; there is no gear check on site. The 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour 20 minutes. Awards are given to the top three male and female participants in each age group and overall; age groups start at 10 & under and extend in five-year increments up to 70+. Event results, photos, and record times are posted after the race; the 5K record times noted from 2024 are 14:48 for males and 17:47 for females.
The event supports The Source of Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on health, wellness, and education. Volunteers receive an event shirt and assist at water stations, check-in, and course marshaling. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
