About the race
The Too Cold to Hold race takes place on January 30, 2027 in Dallas at Norbuck Park near White Rock Lake. The event offers multiple race options and published course maps for each distance.

In-person registration includes a custom long sleeve tech shirt, custom finisher medal, custom race bib, USATF certified courses, Run Project pacing groups, hydration and gels on the half marathon course, free bag check, and free parking. The in-person event features a beer garden for participants 21 or older and an after party with music by DJ Larry. Packet pickup dates and locations are in development.
Virtual registration provides a custom long sleeve tech shirt, custom finisher medal, and a customizable bib with the flexibility to run on any course or location. A VIP package is available as an add-on and includes VIP parking and exclusive branded swag in limited quantity.
Race operations note that stroller use is allowed on course; children under five who remain in a stroller are not required to be registered and do not receive event swag. The half marathon has a course cutoff time of three hours and forty five minutes. Transfers and edits to registration details are allowed through the participant dashboard up to January 22, 2027.
