The Tomoka Elementary Brave, Strong & Healthy 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Ormond Beach, Florida. The event includes two 5K entries: a general Tomoka Elementary 5K Run/Walk and a separate 5K for Tomoka Elementary students and staff. The race starts and finishes at Tomoka Elementary School, 999 Old Tomoka Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
Course, entries and on-site services
The course begins behind Tomoka Elementary, runs east through the Brookwood neighborhood, continues along Old Tomoka Road to the walking trail toward Haas Park, follows the trail out and back, then returns west on Old Tomoka Road to finish behind the school near the PE pavilion. Additional parking is available across the street at Tomoka United Methodist Church. Packet pick-up and registration are available at Tomoka Elementary on Friday, March 6, 2026, and also on race morning at the site. Entry fees vary by date and category and are non-refundable; student and faculty pricing is lower. Originally designed event T-shirts are guaranteed for in-person registrants who register by early February. The race will be professionally timed using disposable electronic tags attached to bibs. Awards will be presented under the PE pavilion, including top three overall male and female and top three in specified age groups. Refreshments will be provided after the race.
