Tomoka Brave, Strong & Healthy 5K Run/Walk
The Tomoka Brave, Strong & Healthy 5K Run/Walk takes place on March 7, 2026, at Tomoka Elementary School in Ormond Beach, Florida. The event includes two 5K entries: a general Tomoka Elementary 5K Run/Walk and a 5K Run/Walk for Tomoka Elementary students and staff. The race starts and finishes at Tomoka Elementary, 999 Old Tomoka Road, with awards and post race refreshments held at the school PE pavilion.
Entry fees vary by registration date and participant type. For the general 5K the published fees are $25 through February 7, 2026; $30 from February 8 through March 5, 2026 at 5pm; and $35 after preregistration closes and on race day. Student and faculty pricing is $20 through February 7, 2026; $25 from February 8 through March 5, 2026 at 5pm; and $30 after preregistration closes and on race day. Entry fees are non refundable. Packet pick up and registration are available on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Tomoka Elementary and on race morning at the site.
Originally designed event T shirts are guaranteed for in person participants who register before February 4, 2026. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and top three in age groups from 7 and under up to 80 and over in five year increments. Additional parking is available at Tomoka United Methodist Church across the street.
The course leaves the back of the school, follows Old Tomoka Road east to the walking trail toward Haas Park, returns along the trail, then proceeds west through the Brookwood neighborhood to finish behind the school. The event will be professionally timed and scored using disposable electronic timing tags attached to bibs; bibs should be worn on the front, pinned at all four corners.
