Ormond Beach Police Athletic League Donut Dash 5K
The event is a 5K run/walk held on April 17, 2027 in Ormond Beach, Florida. Proceeds benefit the Ormond Beach Police Athletic League youth programs. The course begins and ends at the back of the Trails Shopping Center and runs through the Trails and Tomoka Oaks neighborhoods. Donut stations supplied by Krispy Kreme are located along the route.
Registration opens August 11, 2026. Entry fees include a $25 early rate, higher fees for later dates, and a $45 race day fee. Children under 12 and first responders have a separate $20 entry fee. Entry fees are nonrefundable. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for April 16 at The PAL House, 194 Central Avenue, Ormond Beach.
Participant amenities include medals for the first 350 registered and a T-shirt; shirt availability and size are guaranteed for those registered by March 25, with remaining shirts distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The race will be professionally timed and scored using disposable electronic timing tags attached to the bib. Runners are asked to wear the bib on the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to the top three finishers in each age group from 9 and under through 80 and above.
