St. Thomas the Apostle School - Tiger Trot
The event is a community running event held at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Delmar, NY, scheduled for September 19, 2026. It features a main 5K race and a separate kids race for children ages 12 and under. The kids race begins after the conclusion of the 5K and offers two loop options: a quarter mile or a half mile. All children who participate in the kids race receive an award, and entry for the kids race is free.
Registration fees vary by period: early registration through August 15 is $20, regular registration from August 16 through September 17 is $25, and day of race registration is $30. Online registration closes September 17, 2026. Race fees are non refundable and non transferable.
Packet pick up is available the day before the race at the school and also on race day. Awards are given to the top three overall female and male finishers and to age group winners in ten year increments beginning with 19 and under.
Race rules note that bicycles, skates, and animals are not allowed. The use of headphones is strongly discouraged. The course is open to other users including runners, walkers, cyclists, and vehicles, so participants should remain aware of their surroundings.
