Ellis Cardiac Classic
The Ellis Cardiac Classic is the 45th annual Cardiac Classic held at Central Park in Schenectady on Thanksgiving morning. It is described as a Schenectady community tradition and takes place at 500 Iroquois Way, Schenectady, NY 12309.
The event program includes the following distances and formats:
- 2 mile Wellness Walk
- 5K Road Race
- 1 mile Kids Fun Run
The program is presented in the order of the Wellness Walk, the 5K Road Race, and the Kids Fun Run. Strollers are permitted only on the 2 mile Wellness Walk; no wheeled apparatuses are permitted on the 5K run. Dogs are permitted only on the 2 mile Wellness Walk and participants are asked to clean up after pets.
