Ellis Medicine Cardiac Classic
The Cardiac Classic is the 45th annual community running event held at Central Park in Schenectady, New York on 26 Nov 2026. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation, with event-day amenities for those on site and the option to complete a virtual 5K independently.
Participation options include:
- 5K Road Race
- Wellness Walk (2 Miles)
- Kids Fun Run (1 Mile)
Entry fees are published for different categories: in-person 5K runners pay $35, wellness walkers pay $25, the Kids Fun Run is free, and virtual 5K registration is $30. Registrants who register by November 6 are eligible to receive a shirt by race day. Packet pickup details are to be announced.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and sponsors are acknowledged in event materials. The event also includes a clothing drive accepting new shirts, pants, jackets, socks, and undergarments with tags; donations may be brought to the event or made online.
