Event Details
The Tiger Prowl 1 Mile & 5k is a fundraiser supporting the Tech Cross Country team, with proceeds going to the Tech Cross Country Booster Club. It takes place at St. Cloud Tech in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The event features two races, both finishing on the 50-yard line inside the Tech Football Stadium. The races are chip-timed by Pickle Events.
Races
The event includes two distances:
- 1 Mile: This race starts at the 50-yard line on the Tech football stadium. The course goes north on the school entrance for half a mile before turning around and finishing back at the start line.
- 5k: The 5k starts from the west entrance to Tech. The route goes south on 74, enters Hidden Acres Circle, goes counterclockwise, returns to 74, then heads north to 33rd Street. Runners then go east on the sidewalk back to the Tech entrance and finish the last half mile south, ending on the 50-yard line of the football stadium.
Registration and Awards
Registration is open to runners of all ages. There is a discounted registration fee for athletes aged 17 and under. Race shirts are not included with the registration fee but can be purchased separately. The overall male and female winner in each race receives an engraved water bottle. Age group winners receive certificates across multiple divisions for both the 1 Mile and 5k races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
