Make A Difference Run/Walk

Make A Difference Run/Walk takes place on September 12, 2026 at Klinefelter Park in Saint Joseph, Minnesota. The event offers two distances and combines running with community activities and family amenities.

5K
1K

The 5K is a timed event handled by Pickle Events. Registration for the 5K includes a participant shirt. Medals will be awarded to the first 100 5K finishers thanks to All Star Trophy and Awards, and first place overall in the men’s and women’s divisions will receive a $100 Scheels gift card. KPower Yoga will provide warm up stretching before the 5K and a cool down session after the 5K.

The 1K is a free superhero themed event; a cape is included with 1K registration courtesy of EL-Jay Plumbing & Heating. Participants may wear a superhero costume in addition to the provided cape. The 1K is not a timed event.

Food vendors listed include Gary’s Pizza and The Wandering Cow Ice Cream. The event includes children’s activities such as bounce houses and face painting and welcomes walkers. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 11 at St. Cloud Toyota. Registration details include an opening date of April 18, 2026 and specified closing dates and fees for each distance.
