Haitian Hustle 5K : Becker, Minnesota
The Haitian Hustle 5K in Becker takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, and starts at Becker Baptist Church, 11951 Hancock Street. Becker is noted as the birthplace of the Haitian Hustle, a community event that has run since 2011.
Registration opens June 23 and race-day registration is available; T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for late registrants. The event sequence includes registration and check-in before the 5K Race/Walk and children’s races held after the 5K. This is an unofficial 5K; awards will be presented to the first three male and the first three female finishers.
Fees are listed for each event category: the 5K entry is $25 and kids’ races are $15 for participants age 10 and under. Parking is available at the church. Strollers and dogs on leashes are allowed on the course.
Sponsorship opportunities are offered; donations of $100 or more result in a business name or logo being added to the back of the race T-shirt. Previous Hustle events have included fundraising outcomes, such as raising just over $22,000 in 2025 to support sending children to school in Haiti.
