The Terminator 2 Trot: 5K, 10K and Half Marathon
The Terminator 2 Trot is a mid March running event presented by Jed & Ted’s Excellent Races in Canoga Park, Los Angeles Valley. The route runs along the Los Angeles River path near Canoga Park High School and is described as a fast, flat course that follows the movie chase scene location from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
The event program includes multiple distance choices:
- 5K out-and-back on the Los Angeles River path
- 10K extended route along the river with smooth pavement
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) two loops plus the final "Judgment Trail" stretch
- Virtual option with miles logged remotely between March 14 and March 31
Event elements include themed music, 1980s and 1990s throwbacks, themed signage, and a cheering crowd. Costumes are welcome. The listed registration fee for each event is $34.99. For the virtual option, finishers who log their miles will receive a mailed medal.
