The Lemon Run 2027
The Lemon Run is a multi terrain trail event organised by LMEvents near Newton Abbot, centered on the River Lemon. It takes place on Sunday 2 May 2027 at Teignbridge Community Project CIC, Unit 10, Hanbury Buildings, Bradley Lane, Newton Abbot, TQ12 1LZ. The event offers a choice of distances and routes across rural Devon scenery.
- 5K Dash of Lemon, suitable for first time multi terrain runners.
- 10K Slice of Lemon, a longer route with varied and technical sections.
- Half a Lemon, half marathon new for 2027, listed as tbc.
The course uses riverside paths, woodland trails, quiet country lanes and rolling countryside with climbs and viewpoints. The route is described as multi terrain and includes technical sections that require attention underfoot.
The event supports the Life Chance Trust. A contribution from each race entry goes to that charity. Volunteers who marshal the event also prompt a donation from the organiser as a thank you.
Prizes include trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in Open and Female categories and awards for age category winners; full categories will be published before race day. Optional bespoke finisher's medals and professional event photography are available. Race day operations include number collection, baggage drop, registration, a pre race briefing and separate starts for each distance.
