The Lemon Run 5km & 10km
The Lemon Run is a new multi-terrain running event in Newton Abbot inspired by the landscape around the River Lemon. The course combines riverside paths, quiet country lanes, and some climbs, creating a technical and varied route that is not intended for chasing personal bests.
The event is organised as a figure of eight where each loop measures approximately 5 km. Distances offered:
- 5 km : one loop
- 10 km : two loops, full figure of eight
Race headquarters will be based at Venture Court, off Bradley Lane, serving as the central hub for registration, race information, and the start and finish area. Race day logistics include number collection for pre-registered entrants, baggage drop, pre- and same-day registration closing, and a pre-race briefing.
A portion of every entry fee is donated to the charity Sands to support families affected by baby loss. Volunteers who marshal the event also prompt a charity contribution from the organiser.
Trophies are awarded in open and female categories for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, plus age category winners. Entry options include medal and no-medal choices with an entry price range indicated between £13 and £24. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
