Dart Challenge
The Dart Challenge is a six hour timed event at Dartington Hall with registration hosted at the Green Table cafe. Participants complete repeated laps of a 5k loop and may run, hike or walk at their own pace within the six hour limit. A canicross option is available for participants who wish to run with a dog.
The 5k course uses mixed terrain including gravel, grass, some tarmac and occasional mud. Trail shoes are strongly recommended. Event staff and marshals are present on the route and medics are on site.
Race entry includes professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, a finishers medal, water and feed stations, event facilities and toilets, free parking, event catering and public liability insurance. The published entry price is £34.00.
The event supports fundraising for a new playground at Dartington Hall. The format allows single lap participation or longer efforts such as multiple laps that can be used to accumulate longer distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
