Dark Dart Dash
Dark Dart Dash is a night trail run held at Dartington Hall with registration hosted at the Green Table Cafe. The event supports fundraising for a new children's playground at Dartington Hall and includes races for adults, children and runners with dogs.
Distances include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 2K
- 1K
- Canicross options for 5K and 10K
The course uses mixed terrain including gravel, grass, some tarmac and sections that can be muddy. There are children’s races within the 3 to 11 age range, with both 1K and 2K options; parents may run with their children at no extra charge. Children aged 8 and above may take part in the 5K only if accompanied by an adult at all times.
Head torches or chest torches are required and better quality lights are recommended to see the course markers. Trail shoes are strongly recommended.
Event services and facilities listed for competitors include professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled courses, water and feed stations, professional first aid, public liability insurance, toilets, custom race numbers, free event photos, medals for finishers, prizes, a fancy dress competition and a team prize.
