The Joyce Allen Great Turkey Escape
The Joyce Allen Great Turkey Escape is a Thanksgiving period road event scheduled for November 26, 2026 in Redding, Connecticut. Event details and history
Participants receive event apparel and awards: a long sleeve tech shirt, an embroidered winter beanie, embroidered running gloves, a finisher's medal, and age-group awards given three deep in five-year age divisions. Proceeds are donated to race beneficiaries, and the Joyce Allen Charitable Trust will match donations made by the race and its runners. Registration for events opened May 1, 2026. Historical results for the event are available for years from 2013 through 2025. Registration and packet pickup are offered in the days before the race and on race morning.
