Milford Turkey Trot
The Milford Turkey Trot is an annual community charity fun run and walk in Milford, Connecticut, held on November 26, 2026. The event is described as the sixth edition and uses Fowler Pavilion (1 Shipyard Lane, behind the library) as its start and finish area. All participant registration fees and website donations are directed to local charities: Milford Public Schools, Purple Pantry Boxes, and Avery's Little Army for Pediatric Cancer Support and Awareness.
The route follows Milford sidewalks and does not require road closures; participants must obey all street laws. The main course is a casual loop that passes Gulf Beach, Calf Pen Meadow, Buckingham Avenue, and New Haven Avenue. Two shorter out-and-back options are available and all marked routes remain on sidewalks.

- 3+ miles main loop starting at Fowler Pavilion via Shipyard Lane and Gulf Street
- 2 miles out-and-back option to Gulf Beach on sidewalks
- 1 mile short out-and-back option on sidewalks
- Virtual participation option for remote participants on Turkey Day
Events are volunteer-run and rely on sponsors and volunteers. Early packet pickup windows are planned in the days before the event. Race shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed before November 3. Entry fees and donations are non-refundable.
