Course and awards
The courses start in downtown Canal Fulton and finish at St Helena Heritage Park. The first 1.0–1.2 miles are on road; the remainder is on hard packed crushed limestone and blacktop. The marathon reports a total of 57 feet of elevation gain. Both the marathon and half marathon are USATF certified (Marathon OH24034JHP, Half Marathon OH24035JHP). Course descriptions note use of the Towpath Trail with out-and-back segments and 180 degree turns.
Awards are given for top overall finishers and age groups, including top 5 men/women overall and age-group awards through 80+. Awards are handed out on a rolling basis during the morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
