Event Overview
The Perry Rotary Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving morning event held on November 26, 2026. It is organized by the Perry Township Rotarians and the local community, marking its 30th edition.
Location
The event takes place at Central Catholic High School, located at 4824 Tuscarawas St. West in Canton, Ohio.
Distances & Events
The event offers three participation options:
- A 5K Run/Walk.
- A Little Gobbler Run, an untimed event for children aged 9 and under.
- A Friends of Turkey Trot (T-Shirt Only) option.
Participant Information
For the 30th anniversary, all participants receive a commemorative medal. A race t-shirt is included, with options ranging from Youth Medium to Adult 3X-Large. A no-shirt registration option is available for a discount. To guarantee a specific shirt size, registration must be completed by November 1. Packet pickup is available at the high school gymnasium the day before and the morning of the event.
Awards
Awards for the 5K race are mailed to recipients approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the event. Categories include the top 3 overall male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 in multiple age groups.
Additional Notes
The event typically hosts over 2,000 runners, walkers, and their families. It is a fundraising event, and therefore registrations are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
