The Perry Rotary Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Central Catholic High School, 4824 Tuscarawas St. W, Canton, OH 44708. The event is organized by the Perry Township Rotarians and the Perry community. This is the 30th annual edition and typically hosts over 2,000 runners, walkers, and families. The event offers the following race options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Little Gobbler Run (ages 9 and under; untimed)
- Friends of Turkey Trot (T-Shirt Only)
Registration for these events opens January 1, 2026. Prices listed are $40 for the 5K, $22 for the Little Gobbler Run, and $25 for the T-shirt-only option. A no-shirt option gives a $20 discount. To be guaranteed a shirt size, register by November 1; limited selection will be available after that. There is a November 15 deadline for T-shirt-only entries for the Little Gobbler Run.
Logistics, shirts and awards
Packet pickup takes place in the Central Catholic High School gymnasium on Wednesday, November 25 and on race morning, November 26. All participants in the 30th annual event will receive a medal. Awards for the 5K are mailed about 3 to 4 weeks after the event and include top 3 overall male and female plus top 3 in multiple age groups (9 & under, 10-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & over).
