The event offers these distances:
- 50K - six ~5-mile loops
- 25K - three ~5-mile loops
- 5 Miler - single loop
The race is based at the Regal Beagle, 4240 Ira Rd, and highlights Bath Nature Preserve and Bath Community Park. The loop course passes wetlands, woodlands, paved and gravel roads, dirt and grass trails. The 50k has about 400 feet of elevation gain per loop. The race is cupless; runners should bring a handheld water bottle. Each loop includes two aid stations. The course limit is 8 hours. Pacers are not allowed for the 50k.
Entry, logistics and awards
Registration closes November 21. Entry fees vary by distance and registration period: 50k approximately $75–$85, 25k approximately $60–$70, 5 Mile approximately $30–$40. Deadline for guaranteed shirt size is November 10; a no-shirt discount option is available. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the Regal Beagle; limited race-day pickup is available at the start/finish area.
A portion of proceeds will support Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station. Awards include overall and masters male and female, age-group awards, and cash bonuses for new course records. All participants receive a custom finisher gift.
