Regal Beagle Ultra
The Regal Beagle Ultra is a multi-distance trail and road event near Akron, OH, centered on the Bath Nature Preserve and Bath Community Park. The event is based at the Regal Beagle, 4240 Ira Rd, with course access through the University of Akron Field Station and surrounding parkland.
The course is a measured loop layout with terrain that includes paved and gravel roads, dirt and grass trails, wetlands and woodlands, and rolling hills. Elevation is about 400 feet of gain per loop. The 50k is composed of six approximately 5 mile loops and the 25k of three approximately 5 mile loops. The 25k features two aid stations per loop. The 50k does not allow pacers. The event has an overall course limit of eight hours.
A portion of event proceeds supports the Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station. All finishers receive a custom finishers gift described as a regal beagle medal. Race awards include overall and masters awards, age group awards, and cash bonuses for new course records in the 50k and 25k.
