The course is a loop layout that starts at the Bath Nature Preserve and moves through wetlands, woodlands, and rolling hills. Terrain includes a mix of paved and gravel roads, plus dirt and grass trails. The 50K is six roughly five mile loops and the 25K is three roughly five mile loops. Each loop includes two aid stations. Course elevation is about 400 feet of gain per loop. The event lists a course time limit of eight hours. Early starts are not allowed and pacers are not permitted for the 50K or other distances.
A portion of event proceeds will support the Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station. The race partners with Bath Parks. All finishers receive a custom finisher gift, and awards include overall, masters, and age group placements.
