Regal Beagle Ultra - Akron, OH
The Regal Beagle Ultra is a multi-distance trail event held on November 22, 2026 in Akron, Ohio, organized by Fast Girls Running Company. The event uses looped courses based at the Bath Nature Preserve and Bath Community Park, highlighting wetlands, woodlands, and rolling hills across both properties.
Distances offered:
- 50K six roughly 5-mile loops with two aid stations per loop
- 25K three roughly 5-mile loops with two aid stations per loop
- 5 Mile single loop option
Terrain includes paved and gravel roads, dirt and grass trails. For 2026 the course was adjusted for construction: all distances are slightly longer, the route loses some elevation but has more trail, and each loop gains about 300 feet. The 50K has a course limit of eight hours. There are no early starts and no pacers permitted for any distance. Start and finish are located at the Regal Beagle at 4240 Ira Rd; race-day and packet pickup parking are organized via the University of Akron Field Station.
A portion of proceeds supports the Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station. Awards include overall and masters male and female winners for each distance, age group awards, a custom finisher gift for all participants, and cash bonuses for new course records awarded by gun time.
