Course
The course is a loop that starts and finishes at the Regal Beagle, 4240 Ira Rd. It passes through wetlands, woodlands, and rolling hills. Terrain includes paved and gravel roads, and dirt and grass trails. The 50K is six roughly 5-mile loops and the 25K is three roughly 5-mile loops. There are two aid stations per loop. Elevation is about 400 feet of gain per loop.
Logistics and awards
There is an overall and masters award for male and female at each distance, plus age-group awards. All participants receive a custom finisher gift and a Regal Beagle medal. Course record bonuses are listed for the 50K and 25K and are awarded by gun time. Packet pickup and parking are organized at the United locations near the University of Akron Field Station.
