The Great Yarmouth Promenade 5 Mile Series - Race 3
The event is the third race in the 2026 Great Yarmouth Promenade 5 Mile Series. The series includes three race dates in April and May 2026: 15th April, 29th April, and 13th May. Entry prices are listed per race and for the trio booking: individual races are £16 affiliated and £18 non affiliated, and the three-race package is £45 affiliated and £51 non affiliated. Fifty pence from each entry will be donated to Pathway.
Race headquarters are at the Marina Centre, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth NR30 2ER. Evening parking on the road is free after 6pm and there are several car parks along the seafront. Toilet facilities are available. The start and finish are near the sealife centre and are a short walk from the HQ. An unmanned bag area will be provided inside the sports hall and lockers are available at the leisure centre.
Chip timing is provided by Total Race Timing. All runners must write their name, an emergency contact, and medical details on the back of their race number. Headphones including bone conduction devices are not permitted in line with England Athletics rules. The course is a 5 mile flat, traffic free route along Great Yarmouth Promenade, fully marshalled and signposted. It is not suitable for wheelchairs, buggies, or pets.
All finishers receive an interlocking medal as part of a three part collection. Trophies are awarded to the top two male and top two female finishers, with age category awards for the top two in each category and team prizes for senior and veteran male and female teams. Medical support is provided by MedPTS. Transfers to another runner are allowed until 6 May 2026; refunds and deferrals are not available.
