The Great Yarmouth Promenade 5 Mile Series - Race 3
This event is the third race in a three-race 5 mile series held in Great Yarmouth. The race holds UKA Race Licence 30870 and the course measurement is listed as TBC. The series offers single-race and trio entry options with a portion of each entry donated to Pathway.
Entry fees are stated as £16 for affiliated runners and £18 for non affiliated for each individual race. Trio entries for all three races are listed as £45 affiliated and £51 non affiliated. Fifty pence from every entry will be donated to Pathway. Minimum age is 15 years on race day. Transfers to another runner are permitted until 06/05/2026; refunds and deferrals are not available.
Race HQ is at the Marina Centre, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2ER. Road parking is free after 6pm and there are paid car parks along the sea front. Toilet facilities are available. The start and finish area is near the Sea Life Centre and a short walk from the HQ. An unmanned bag area is provided in the sports hall; lockers at the leisure centre are available.
Chip timing is provided by Total Race Timing. Runners must write name, emergency contact, and medical details on the back of their race number. Headphones including bone-conduction devices are not permitted under England Athletics rules. The course is a completely flat, traffic-free 5 mile route on Great Yarmouth Promenade, fully marshalled and signposted. It is not suitable for wheelchairs, buggies, or pets.
All finishers receive a medal, with interlocking parts across the three races. Trophies are awarded to the top two male and female finishers, with age category awards for the top two in each category and team prizes for senior and vets teams.
