Beccles Triathlon 2026
Beccles Triathlon takes place on Sunday 7 June 2026 in Beccles, Suffolk, centred on Beccles Lido in Puddingmoor. The event is a sprint distance triathlon that uses the heated outdoor pool and local roads and towpaths through the Waveney Valley.
The race route includes:
- 420 m swim in the heated outdoor pool at Beccles Lido
- 20.3 km cycle through Gillingham, Geldeston and Ditchingham via local lanes
- 6.7 km run via Beccles Quay and along the Waveney River towpath
The bike course is designed to use only left turns and marshals will provide guidance and safety on course. Finish and prize giving take place in Beccles with trophies awarded to first male, first female and first relay team, plus trophies for places and age group winners. Times will also be published in British Triathlon Federation five year age groups.
Entry is limited to a set number of places; when entries reach capacity a waiting list opens automatically. In the most recent year over 40 people were taken from the waiting list.
Entry fees noted by the organiser include individual and relay pricing, a British Triathlon Race Pass requirement for some participants, and a booking service fee.
