Event Overview
The Gobbler Classic 5K Run/Walk is a 5K event that takes place on Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2026). It is the 22nd annual edition. The start and finish location is Faith Church Dyer at 100 81st Ave in Dyer, Indiana.
Event Details
The event raises funds for local food pantries in Faith Church communities, having raised over $30,000 the previous year. A commemorative shirt is available, with quantities limited to the first 1,050 participants.
Post-race, complimentary food and beverages are provided in the Atrium. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as to male and female winners in multiple age categories ranging from 9 & under to 65 & older.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, and Wednesday, November 25, from 12-6 PM each day.
Participant Information
Strollers are permitted on the 5K route, with participants asked to start with walkers or behind runners. Dogs and drones are not allowed on the property. The event has a registration fee of $30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
