The Crunchwrap Crawl, 50K
The event is a multisite run in Kennewick, Washington, centered on visiting Taco Bell restaurants along a set route. There are two course options based on the number of Taco Bell stops: one route includes seven Taco Bells and the other includes an eighth local Taco Bell.
Distances:
- 50K
- 42 miles
Entrants must follow a set of rules to register an official finish. Runners must visit and walk into every designated Taco Bell stop on their chosen course, eat a menu item from the Taco Bell menu at each stop, and retain receipts, wrappers, or photos as proof. Some stops include other restaurants but only Taco Bell menu items count. Food may be eaten on the move but drinks do not count as food. The race clock continues until the final food item is consumed. Required menu minimums include at least one Chalupa Supreme or Crunchwrap Supreme and at least one Burrito Supreme or Nachos Bell Grande by the finish.
Safety and verification requirements include following rules of the road, avoiding course cutting, providing GPS proof that the full distance was covered, and finishing within 11 hours. Additional optional challenges are listed by the organizer for bragging rights, including a loop back challenge, a Diablo sauce challenge, and a Baja Blast consumption challenge. Registration closes Thu, Nov 5 at 11:59 PM PT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
