The Crunchwrap Crawl, Kennewick WA
The Crunchwrap Crawl is a themed endurance run in Kennewick, Washington that routes participants past a series of Taco Bell restaurants. There are two race options that use either seven restaurants or a new local eighth restaurant. The event location is listed as 3623 Plaza Way, Kennewick, WA.
Entrants must visit every Taco Bell stop on their chosen course, walk into each restaurant, and eat a menu item from each location. No drive-thru use is allowed. Menu items may be taken to eat later along the route, but littering is prohibited. Some course stops are at other chain restaurants; only Taco Bell menu items qualify for the requirement. Drinks do not count as food.
Specific food requirements include consumption of at least one Chalupa Supreme or Crunchwrap Supreme, and at least one Burrito Supreme or Nachos Bell Grande by the finish. Entrants must keep receipts, wrappers, or photo proof of food purchases and present them at the finish, and provide GPS proof that they covered the route. No menu items may be purchased before the race starts. Course cutting will result in disqualification. Finishers must complete the course within 11 hours. Dietary restrictions may be allowed if approved prior to race day.
Optional, nonofficial challenges include running back to the start and eating again, adding Diablo sauce, or consuming two liters of Baja Blast for bragging rights. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
