Chamna Chase is a trail running event at Chamna Natural Preserve in Richland, WA, organized by Nomad Trail Runners. The event offers multiple race distances and postrace awards and snacks for entrants.
Race distances:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 6K
Course format and surface details are provided for each distance. The half marathon uses a double out and back with a loop in the middle. The 10K follows the first out and back plus the loop used by the half marathon. The 6K is a single large loop. Courses run on as much dirt trail as possible with occasional rocks; the half marathon and 10K include some pavement sections. The course will be marked with fluorescent tape, and course maps will be emailed to entrants before race day.
Race shirts are available for purchase with an ordering deadline to allow time for printing. Special prizes from sponsors will be awarded, and Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged with possible prizes for costume winners. Dogs are permitted on the course but must be kept on a leash.
