Coffee Lover Run KANSAS CITY takes place on January 30, 2027 at Mill Creek Park on Broadway Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. The event is organized as a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave and waves filled on a first come, first served basis.

The event uses timed waves and allows late arrivals to start upon arrival; coordinators remain for several hours after the first wave. Timing is optional and no timing chips are used. Participants may track their time with apps and submit results for posting online. Packet pickup is not required; race bibs are provided on race day and event shirts and other swag are shipped directly to US mailing addresses. Swag listed by the organizer includes a running t-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Virtual participants receive a digital training pack and can submit results to receive a medal.
The event lists online results and a certificate of completion, an invitation to local running clubs, and a charity initiative that donates one dollar for each mile logged after the race to partner charities.
