Run for Mental Health - Kansas City
Run for Mental Health is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at Gillham Park in Kansas City, Missouri. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and includes multiple distance options and a family fun run.
The event is organized in capped start waves that fill on a first-come basis. It is described as a smaller, private group run that welcomes participants of all paces and ages (those under 18 must be with a guardian). Participants may run or walk. Timing is optional: runners may track time with a personal app and submit results, or request coordinator assistance; no timing chips are used.
Swag and finish items are included for participants. Provided items include a running T-shirt shipped within the United States, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to local running clubs. Optional technical running shirts are available for an extra fee. Swag is shipped to the registrant's address; race bibs are provided on race day. Final race updates and course maps are emailed before the event.
A virtual run option includes a digital training pack and can be completed at a time and place of the participant's choosing. The event notes a charity initiative where miles logged after the race may generate donations to partner charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
