Swifty Fun Run - Kansas City
The Swifty Fun Run is a themed running event that celebrates the music of Taylor Swift. It takes place at Longview Lake Beach in Kansas City, Missouri.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- 1 mile (jog/walk)
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon
Registration includes a technical t-shirt, live results, a finisher medal, and downloadable race photos. There is a post-race party with music, food, and drinks. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers for the 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances, as well as to the top three in various age groups for those same events. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes or merchandise related to the artist.
The event has a half marathon cutoff time of 3.5 hours and a 3-hour cutoff for the 1-mile, 5K, and 10K distances. Aid stations on the course provide water and an electrolyte drink. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at a specified location, as well as on race morning. Spectator areas will feature activities like a craft table, bracelet-making station, yard games, and music.
