Swifty Fun Run : Kansas City
The Swifty Fun Run is a themed running event in Kansas City, MO held on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and multiple distance options:
- 1 mile jog or walk
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Registration includes a tech t-shirt, live race results, a finisher medal, race photos, awards for top finishers, and a post-race party with music, food, and drinks. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to One KC for Women. Packet pickup takes place the day before the race at Bicycle Shack, 3365 SW Fascination Dr, Lees Summit, MO; participants should bring photo ID and may pick up packets for other athletes.
Aid stations on course will supply water and an electrolyte drink; participants are advised to carry any personal gels or chews. Finishers receive medals that include event imagery. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top three male and female finishers in age groups from 0-19 through 80 plus for the 5K, 10K, and half marathon. Race cutoffs are published: half marathon athletes have 3.5 hours, and 1 mile, 5K, and 10K athletes have 3 hours to complete their distances. The organizer may alter or cancel the event for safety reasons; there is no refund policy for race entry fees. Spectator amenities include craft and activity stations, yard games, music, and vendor booths. Photographs may be taken and used for promotion.
